I have this problem that the sound, at least in two games that ive played recently, is cracking at random points. Im having a problem with this game its running full speed no slowdowns but the audio is driving me crazy it is constantly crackling ive tried LLE and HLE recompiler including openal with a higher latency and it still doesnt fix it. If it audio crackes again, lower the value even more. If it still audio crackles with that value, lower the value by 0.01. Start with 59.95 (which should be the default).
